A few weeks ago, I found this mutant 1963 Jefferson head nickel.
The back looks even worse.
Anybody have an idea what could have done this?

Not sure what caused it but I know Taco Bell Hot Sauce will clean it. You could also leave it in a glass of cola for a week.
